WW Gift Card Pricing Leader, Amazon Gift Cards

Amazon creates gift cards to attract new customers to our retail stores worldwide, drive incremental sales on Amazon, and lower Amazon’s overall cost of payments. Our mission is to accelerate Amazon’s flywheel by inspiring people around the globe to gift or transact with confidence. Today, we offer gift cards programs across our Amazon stores, traditional brick and mortar stores off-Amazon (e.g., Safeway, Sainsburys), and direct to third party’s through APIs. In addition to gifting, we provide customers with immediate refunds or concessions, avoiding chargebacks fees and giving access to their funds faster for subsequent purchases. Lastly, we are a tool to enable cash-preferring customers to access Amazon.

We’re hiring a Principle Product Manager with 1-2 direct reports who will own the Pricing strategy for our WW business, include rate structure, list rates, discounts, and potential fees. We believe that Pricing can be a core differentiator for our category and we need you to benchmark industry, determine price positioning, establish goals, then drive continuous process improvement to track towards those goals. You’ll also be a key partner to determine pricing strategy for all new business lines as well as other seasonal events. You will work closely with senior leadership across product, commercial, and operations to hone your vision, and work alongside your direct reports and our product and science teams to bring these ideas to market. Key job responsibilities

As an ideal candidate, you have a passion to understand the interplay of our different pricing strategies to fuel scale and automation. You are responsible for defining and driving our pricing roadmaps, understanding the differences between local requirements . You will work with in-house scientists, retail organizations, data-engineers and software teams to identify new features and projects. As our lead pricing strategist, you must analyze the potential customer and financial implications, select the most promising ideas, prioritize them and create a cohesive roadmap. You will also evangelize new features to our clients, working to accelerate their adoption, track the impacts, and communicate results with senior leaders.

This is a highly visible position. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Amazon’s strategic objectives. Excellent written, verbal communication and data analytical skills are a necessity. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience with end to end product delivery

– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience owning technology products

– 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

– Familiar with tools such as tableau, lookr, SQL, Salesforce etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
