Workforce Relations Project Manager

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Discover potential partnerships from various workforce organizations in the markets where Renewables does business.
• Ensure Renewables is taking advantage of available services, while also providing well-paid career opportunities for people in those systems.
• Understand and manage requirements for working with each partner organization.
• Monitor EEO compliance in the apprenticeship programs and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local agencies’ regulations.
• Maximize opportunities to benefit from workforce development money made available to employers that work with each organization.
• Coordinate with community outreach, talent acquisition and marketing efforts to ensure PRE is efficient in its efforts to connect with people in each respective market.
• Research grant opportunities and manage the application, award and reporting processes.
• Develop processes for auditing & reporting apprentice performance as required by workforce partners.
• Work with counterparts in other Business units to make best possible use of services available from workforce partners.
• Represent Renewables within the workforce industry, including conferences, user groups, NAWDP, etc.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of each program to determine Renewable’s level of participation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with or for workforce centers across multiple markets.
• 2 years of Project Management experience.
• CWDP certification.
• Experience with VA benefits, GI bill, and various Veteran recruiting programs and services.
• Experience in receiving workforce money and/or grants.
• Experience with effective community outreach & engagement.
• Experience using multiple technology platforms to track & manage data and providing accurate forecasting.

PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple organizations, service providers, internal and external stakeholders, and workforce systems.
• Ability to navigate workforce development applications, requirements, etc.
• Ability to create and launch new programs, services, or initiatives.
• Strong understanding of government regulations, IRA, funding opportunities, and EEO compliance related to apprenticeship programs.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Detail oriented, strong task management and organizational skills.
• Adept at problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making.
• Strategic, innovative, and forward thinking.
• High level of initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability.
