Responsibilities
PM SAI falls under Program Executive Office – Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S). PM SAI is headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) with product line support offices located at APG, MD. PM SAI is responsible for development, production, modernization, fielding, and sustainment of integrated manned and unmanned aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensor payloads that leverage National and other Services’ capabilities. PM SAI also provides product solutions to support warfighting Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) of Intelligence products.
The AEROS ILS Specialist will be located at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
What you’ll do:
The ILS Specialist will be responsbile for the following but not limited to:
- Support all aspects of integrated product support elements (IPSE) for Shadow Sensor Systems, applying practical knowledge of all twelve IPSE and own initiative to perform duties.
- Support the IPSE planning and implementation to include maintenance plan, supply support, support and test equipment, transportation and handling, technical data, facilities, personnel and training, logistic resource funds, supply support plans, provisioning plan, admin, depot maintenance support plan, material fielding plan and management information.
- Provide the inputs for Budget and analysis of funding in support of sustainment and transportation efforts.
- Track funding/budget efforts to coordinate with repair facility in order to manage repair cost for assets and other associated costs.
- Track and manage systems and repair parts and inventory supporting CONUS/OCONUS missions. Update, when required, deployment readiness trackers and reports with the number of assets on mission.
- Generate, coordinate, and track transportation documents to support transportation requirements.
- Coordinate with other organizations for the planning, implementing, and support of systems, to include occasional travel to their units’ locations to support fielding operations and inventory accountability on-site.
- Prepare, coordinate, update, and manage logistics documents to include but not limited to the Life Cycle Logistics Plan, Product Support Strategy, Product Support Plan, Level of Repair Analysis, Core Depot Assessment, and Business Case Analysis, participating in the associated Integrated Product Teams.
- Assure Army requirements and documents for authorization and fielding (e.g., Basis of Issue Plan feeder data, Associated Support Items of Equipment assignment, Total Package Fielding planning, Provisioning, etc.) are met.
- Represent PM EO/IR Payload as an ILS Manager in meetings and discussions with the development contractor or agency, other Army organizations/activities, Contracted Repair Facilities, and other Logistics Services i.e., Shipping/Transportation as required in support.
- Develop and brief plans and status of integrated logistics support for the assigned weapon system to management and various external organizations (platform owners, readiness element, higher headquarters, etc.).
- Conduct inventories to ensure 100% accountability of assets and participate in Care of Govt Equipment/assets to include spare parts and Supplies in Storage facilities, which include occasional travel to the inventory site /agency for on-site verification.
- Develop and provide input data to designers concerning proposed maintainability and reliability objectives for new materiel being developed.
- Maintain continuous liaison with research, engineering, production, and field personnel to influence design to ensure optimum support after the systems are fielded.
- Participate in the preparation of a maintainability plan and conduct of maintainability demonstration.
- Review and furnish information to stakeholders (upon approval) concerning the support of equipment procured and utilized by Shadow Sensor Systems.
- Provide logistics evaluation of supportability and suitability of the equipment for its intended use.
- Coordinate the development and selection of logistics support alternatives for proposed system/component design.
- Set schedule M-F, 8 hours.
- Hybrid schedule with option of RDO.
Qualifications
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Manages multiple projects at one time.
- Proficient in DoD Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures.
- Proficient in the principles and practices of logistics management.
- Knowledgeable of all 12 of the Integrated Product Support elements.
- Knowledge of the substantive nature of programs and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
- Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively lead other employees.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, DPAS (Defense Property Accounting System), COLTS(Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System ), MCDS (Air worthiness Database) ), AESIP ( Army Enterprise Portal)), Transportation- Tracking for Air Force as well as other resources required in support of Government Furnished and Contractual equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of six (6) years of related work experience is required.
- Recent full-time logistics experience in industry or Government supporting manufacturing, repair, upgrade, inventory, transportation and refurbishment of equipment. Additional experience with logistics integration requirements as applied to various weapon systems.
- Experience in preparing/editing DOD technical documents as well as reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis of complex mechanical and electronic systems/equipment.
- Secret clearance required.

Range for Posting
Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
