SNELLING STAFFING HAS IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES / DELIVERY DRIVERS AT OUR WAREHOUSE/DISTRIBUTION CLIENT LOCATED IN WARREN. This company distributes wine to restaurants and retail stores throughout Metro-Detroit and the state of Michigan. TEMP TO HIRE, $18-20/hour, based on experience and license.
Delivery Driver duties:
- Pull daily order and load truck via pallet jack
- Organize for optimal delivery schedule
- General warehouse duties as needed
- Chauffeurs license: drive local delivery route throughout Metro Detroit
- CDLB: drive local delivery route throughout Metro Detroit and routes throughout the state of Michigan
Delivery Driver qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout your shift
- Must have either a valid Chauffeurs license or a CDL B license
- Must have clean driving record
- Excellent sense of direction and familiarity with the Metro Detroit area
- Excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with customers throughout the day
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- 2-3 years experience as a route delivery driver (not groceries or pizza, you must have experience starting the day with a full truck and following scheduled stops/route throughout the day)
