CSI Sands N.E. offers expertise in materials engineering including, concrete, asphaltic concrete, rail ballast, sand and various construction related materials and supply.
At CSI Sands N.E. we provide a full range of aggregate and resource materials production services. We are equipped to handle every phase of the materials engineering process, from initial exploration to delivery of the end-product.
Currently, we are looking to hire an Laborer to complete our team in Brevort, Michigan.
Job Duties
- Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures.
- Receive directions from site foreman regarding day-to-day operations and tasks.
- This work can include manual labor work, helping with plant maintenance, or operational and maintenance work.
- Provide on-going support and assistance to equipment operators.
- Responsible for and/or assists in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level. Quantity of fuel and fluids must be written and reported in the inspection log.
- Assists in the maintenance works of the equipment.
- Maintain tidiness around site and equipment.
- Perform other functions as directed from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Mining experience and/or familiarity with maintenance of mining equipment is an asset.
- Physically fit to do manual labor and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- OSHA or MSHA certification would be considered an asset.
