Job Description

Under direct supervision Deputy Director of HR Operations, this role with considerable latitude of initiative and judgement, will performs highly confidential and, complex task. Perform various administrative functions and responsibilities. Will be responsible for compliance with all applicable NYC Health + Hospitals policies and procedures, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all New and Rehires, promotions and demotions into PeopleSoft.
  • Participates in all salary, education and experience reviews and requests from Central Office.
  • Act as the point of contact for NYU Residents onboarding process.
  • Process all Civil Service updates.
  • Process all contractual salary increased as determined by Central Office.
  • Assist with training new staff.
  • Assist with managing transaction mailbox.
  • Assist with processing all separations.
  • Asist with Joint Commission audits as needed.
  • Review audit report for discrepancies.
  • Process Reasonable Accommodation request.
  • All other duties assigned by supervisor or designee.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; or
2. Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources or personnel administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function; or
3. High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience, as described in “2” above.
