The Role
The VP Channel Optimization, Strategy and Analytics – Participant Engagement (TEM Phones, TEM Field, Corporate team) will work with senior channel leadership to define the vision, objectives, and strategy for the Participant Engagement Distribution organization which includes both TEMPA (TEM Phones Planning and Advice) and WEPA (Workplace Education, Planning, and Advice).This role will identify areas of focus and growth for our PE organization including key optimization levers to drive more effective planning and advice experiences for our participants, an enhanced and optimized associate experience, and delivery of key desired business outcomes. This role will be a key partner with workstream owners to prioritize, design and implement optimization strategies including PE leadership, PE functional leaders, the TEM product area, the workplace segment team, PI Distribution, etc.
You will communicate the vision and strategy to key stakeholders and business partners as well as provide frequent updates as to progress and next steps. This role also will have ownership of the PE function level and leader data and analytics team which is responsible for creating reporting, dashboards and on demand analytics and insights regarding the performance of the Participant Engagement organization
- Evaluate results and optimize the channels to help TEMPA and WEPA achieve their KPIs and goals. Key areas of focus will be driving lifetime engagement, ensuring a high-quality customer experience, and improving operating efficiency.
- Responsible for using data and analytics to understand how to optimize the Participant Engagement function to drive results. You will recommend and help implement sales and service model changes, improve existing processes, and identify key channel needs
- Assist to ensure the successful and accurate decommission of the PEAR reporting platform in partnership with Sales Operations and Compensation team, while working to create a best-in class data and analytics group in support of the Live Channel
- Lead a team that provide analytics and reporting support along with project execution for the PE organization.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A passion for analysis, planning, strategy, and innovation
- Working knowledge of the PI and WI distribution models preferred
- A high level of curiosity and ability to quickly learn new areas of our business
- Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills to enable a collaborative style in working across the enterprise
- Ability to define strategic roadmaps and provide cross-functional program management that leads to successful execution
- A structured, analytical, and data-driven approach to identify priorities and gain support across key stakeholders to get to execution
- Experience building and leading teams
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Series 7, 63 preferred
The Team
The Participant Engagement Channel Optimization and Analytics team works in an agile fashion to deliver business value to the executives and leaders. The broader PE organization encompasses both TEMPA and WEPA in support of 40 leaders and 600 planners.
