The Video Production Specialist position is responsible for the production and editing of creative, high quality photo and video content to inform and inspire viewers and promote Road Scholar as an organization dedicated to educational travel. This position requires a creative individual who will envision and create innovative, high-quality video programs to reach an audience that includes employees, active participants, and potential inquirers. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of photo and video libraries, web DAMs, monitoring and making photo and video requests, and other digital asset tasks as needed.
Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation range for this exempt level salaried position is $48,000 – $66,500.
You will…
- Produce internal and external videos that support company-wide initiatives
- Edit, color correct and curate professional photo and video footage
- Select, crop and upload photos to the Road Scholar website and third party tools in support of multi-channel marketing initiatives
- Monitor and respond to photo/video requests, make updates to the Road Scholar website as needed
- Maintain, process and organize library of video and photo assets
You need…
- BA/BS or equivalent in video, communications, television or media
- 1-2 years production experience
- Experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition and After Effects
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve a huge plus
- Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and an understanding of lighting and audio recording
- Ability to manage multiple projects successfully, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
- Detail-oriented individual, excellent communication skills and a complete knowledge of the technical and creative components of video production.
- Understanding of brand identity and willingness to comply with branding guidelines.
- Interest in educational travel or non-profit.
