Job Description Summary:
PayPal Inc. seeks UX Designer 2 in San Jose, Ca to partner with design, engineering, design systems and product management team members in the execution and delivery of PayPal’s products and services, using a customer-focused, iterative design process. Contribute to the planning and estimating work and participates in broader work stream coordination and expectation setting. Leverage and extends the use of established UX techniques, templates, presentations and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions and materials. Contribute to the adaptation of PayPal UX tools, methodology and software and proposes new solutions or optimizes existing ones. Operate within an iterative design team, managing UX responsibilities against defined milestones and plan with little day-to-day oversight. Analyze user’s needs, using design research methods to uncover customer insights.

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or a closely related field plus six months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: Range: $102,835 – $147,400 per annum. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
