Want to use your critical thinking, customer obsession, and creativity to build a new local ecommerce shopping experience within Walmart’s ecosystem? The Walmart Local Marketplace team is looking for a strategic leader to define, execute, and optimize how our customers discover and purchase from local 3 rd – part y sellers . They will partner closely with Product , Site Merchandising, and Marketing teams to define the North Star Experience to drive value for Customers and Sellers and realize efficiencies across the Walmart platform. They will develop a deep unde rstanding of the customer they are building for within the lens of the Walmart customer and key competitors to drive key strategic initiatives and insights and shape the product roadmap , prioritize features and requirements , and execute against plan as we build towards North Star . They will develop program KPIs and analyze business progress, evaluate results and learnings, and deliver recommendations to drive outcomes and optimiz ations .
About Walmart Local Marketplace
The Local Marketplace team is a newly formed business team within Walmart Marketplace chartered with building and scaling new ways for customers to conveniently shop the local business and products they lov e within the Walmart app and Walmart.com .

What you’ll need
- 7 -10 years related experience in Consulting, Business Operations, Strategy, or related field
- Experience in consumer-focused retail or ecommerce environment
- Self-starter with analytical skills (SQL, Tableau, Looker experience preferred )
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Highly organized , experience program managing complex initiatives across stakeholders (business, tech, and marketing) to manage timelines and deliver results . Conveys a sense of urgency to motivate others and achieve goals .
- Equally comfortable devising strategic initiatives and operationalizing tactical projects
- Demonstrates creativity and flexibility in the face of change, obstacles, competing demands and priorities . You c an work seamlessly in a fast-paced environment, managing several priorities and staying organized throughout
- An entrepreneurial spirit and derive fulfillment from building new businesses initiatives from beginning stages

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $119,000.00-$221,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
– Stock equity incentives
