This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sam’s Club Product Operations team, where you will be a Program Manager II leading complex initiatives within the Member Access Platform (MAP) Area, a key strategic area for Sam’s Club.

Your role will be leading critical programs enabling MAP to achieve business outcomes and goals. You will be responsible for improving the efficiencies, effectiveness and measurements of Sam’s product offerings and partnering closely with our experience teams to achieve results.

About The Team:

Sam’s Club is transforming its advertising business into the Sam’s Club Member Access Platform (MAP). We are an access and ads platform focused on our members by delivering an additive ads experience. Sam’s Club Member Access Platform is the nexus of the Supplier -Marketer- Merchant partnership and are responsible for delivering our suppliers (advertisers) impactful omnichannel member experiences that are married with measurable insights. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, highly visible team within Sam’s Club.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive programs across different pillars representing business areas through planning, execution, dependency mapping, agile ways of working and provide key strategic program support.
  • Drive delivery and accountability through the Experience Team (Program, Product, Engineering, UX, Business) for committed outcomes.
  • Manage detailed roadmap plans, timelines, key milestones, and dependencies across the organization.
  • Align multiple cross-functional working teams around the strategy, business and technical requirements.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies and develop mitigation plans to ensure strategic programs deliver expected results on time.
  • Ensure business needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and business outcomes.

What You’ll Bring:

  • End-to-end delivery plans for complex solutions spanning multiple engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of core Project Management and Agile principles including the Scrum methodology.
  • Expertise in driving large-scale projects and working through multiple functions and teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, ability to delegate and monitor others.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry project manager toolset (ex. Jira, Confluence, Zoom, etc.) and Microsoft products.
  • Knowledge of success metrics (KPIs) relevant to program context.
  • Experience working with Product Teams for delivery of software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to provide executive level summaries.
  • Leadership presence and strong spirit of collaboration with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification/knowledge of large-scale scrum management, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe certification).
  • Background in Retail Technology.
  • Advertising/Promotion System experience.
  • PMP Certification
  • Program Manager experience in Product Delivery

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$195,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 2 years’ experience in project and program management, operations, or related field OR 4 years’
experience in project and program management, operations, or related field.
2 years’ experience leading cross-functional project teams.
