Position Summary…

What you’ll do…
Oversees the vendor selection process to develop the reporting strategy by

  • working with sourcing managers to determine project requirements
  • creating cost models of different contract variables to assist with vendor negotiation
  • generating various scenarios to determine business benefits
  • assessing range of negotiation outcomes
  • assisting in the negotiations of vendor data terms
  • executing defined negotiation strategies to ensure business needs are met and strategies are aligned
  • monitoring vendor performance to ensure compliance with expectations.

Oversees multiple complex reporting project initiatives by

  • working with sourcing managers to determine resource constraints
  • assisting in the review and revision of existing reporting metric standards
  • assisting with the incorporation of industry and company standards, reporting innovations, and best practices for demonstrating program value into reporting process
  • assisting with the development of localized reports to incorporate various types of data
  • ensuring proper process documentation for data comparisons by region
  • managing reporting strategy cadence based on events and audience
  • addressing issues as they arise
  • communicating updates and results to senior management.

Directs continuous improvement in vendor management and analyzes travel spending patterns for assigned category by

  • partnering with sourcing managers to develop sourcing plans
  • determining vendor implications based on strategy and initiatives
  • researching industry trends
  • benchmarking with industry leaders and competitors
  • utilizing product expertise to recognize industry trends and innovations
  • analyzing existing contracts and capabilities to determine areas of opportunity
  • developing solutions based on financial modeling to drive cost savings and efficiencies
  • making recommendations to sourcing managers
  • working with internal teams to develop business cases for new or enhanced vendor relationships
  • working with vendors to identify and promote service and product improvements
  • participating in the development of recommendations for changes to vendor agreements.

Defines and communicates national, regional, and state commercial program implementation initiatives, required training, or operational changes by

  • collaborating with key stakeholders to define initiatives, training, or changes
  • communicating and presenting information.

Serves as the primary liaison between regulatory agencies and business teams to determine what disclosures are required to participate in plans by

  • reviewing contracts and disclosures
  • interpreting contract language to identify changes
  • negotiating with agencies to ensure disclosures meet requirements
  • ensuring contracts comply with corporate and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks
  • ensuring operational procedures are compatible with contracting language
  • ensuring electronic data retention practices comply with company standards and requirements and agency regulations
  • ensuring contracts are fully executed
  • providing stores with enrollment information.

Provides overall direction by

  • analyzing business objectives and customer needs
  • developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices
  • analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans
  • determining and supporting resource requirements
  • evaluating operational processes
  • measuring outcomes to ensure desired results
  • identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
  • promoting a customer environment
  • demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by

  • diagnosing capability gaps
  • recruiting, selecting, and developing talent
  • supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning
  • leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by

  • integrating these values into all programs and practices
  • developing consequences for violations or non-compliance
  • supporting the Open Door Policy.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by

  • sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives
  • engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives
  • supporting associate efforts in these areas.

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000.00-$223,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 5 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or related area. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
