We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our End to End Supply Chain team.

You will become the owner of the demand plan and a key team member of our monthly business planning process. You will work closely with our Commercial and Marketing teams linking the customer needs and our business objectives. This role will be instrumental in driving the growth in the category and will be highly visible with senior management.

We will count on you in:

  • Build Collaborative Demand Plan – Regularly interact with commercial teams (sales, marketing, and CPFR/customer engagement) to gather customer plans & other demand inputs. Determine deviations vs. statistical demand plan, gain alignment & document key assumptions.
  • Critical and analytical thinking to validate demand plans, and leverage customer and sales intelligence data in fine-tuning your demand plan and challenge commercial teams in the alignment process.
  • Developing early warning indicators for potential upside-downside demand risks and proactively take steps to mitigate those risks.
  • Driving the forecast accuracy improvement in the consensus demand plan and monthly item-location level forecast.
  • Building excellent working relationships with top customers and having superior business knowledge to incorporate the impact of seasonality, external economic factors, merchandise and competitor activities on the demand planning process.
  • Synchronize Supply & Demand – Ensure alignment of final demand plan to supply plan. Communicate demand risks/opportunities due to supply chain constraints and work on possible solutions.
  • Support New Product Planning & Life Cycle Planning – Work cross functionally to finalize pipeline volume & first 6 months of demand for new products. Track/measure actual shipments vs. documented key assumptions.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional team to manage & communicate SKU performance and life cycle changes.
  • Communicate & Manage Demand – Monitor orders and shipments on a regular basis. Identify/Communicate significant changes. Facilitate Fast Track process.
  • Continuous improvement of the demand planning process and tools and always lookout for the best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain / demand planning or related fields.
  • Broad understanding of Supply Chain management challenges and how data can help address them.

Expected Skills:

  • Knowledge of integrated business management processes and tools (SAP, APO, IBP).
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion about analytics and data driven decision making and willing to dive into in depth data discussions.

Salary Range $70,400 – $103,950 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive
offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
