Velocity Trucks Centers is looking for a Treasury Specialist. This position is part of a strong team in our Treasury department that works together to ensure timely, accurate management and reporting of all things cash including check processing, lockbox processing, incoming and outgoing wires, account reconciliations and analysis. This is an important role in our group and will have an opportunity to make a difference!
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving wires
- Daily bank account reconciliations
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Monitoring and reporting cash balances
- Cash forecasting
- Occasional assistance with cash posting
- Adjusting journal entries
- Company credit card administration
- Regular communications within the Treasury and Accounting departments
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Balance Sheet
- Income Statement
- Statement of Cash Flows
- General Ledger and chart of accounts
- Accounting processes and internal controls
- Strong excel experience
- Forecasting
- Effective written and oral communication skills
