Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking a Title Curative Real Estate Paralegal to join our Real Estate & Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of, and support related to, closing requirements for single-site and utility- scale renewable energy real estate projects. The role involves the review of due diligence materials including survey and title and assisting attorneys with the review and negotiation of title insurance. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients regarding project updates, title/survey issues, and curative requirements for the projects.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details. A bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, business, liberal arts, or some other closely-related field, with a minimum of three years in a paralegal role. If you have not worked in a paralegal role, we will also look at other work experience. Experience in the renewable energy field is not a prerequisite.Commercial real estate experience would be ideal.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo, Rochester or Albany, is $55,770 to $71.370. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
