This role in summary

Whirlpool is looking for qualified candidates for the role of Test Booth Inspector. This position is located in Fall River, MA.
This role will be responsible as Test Booth Inspector of a Washer Unit. Using WCM related tools operators are required to have high standards for Quality and Safety while performing job related duties. Operators will use a variety of tools and equipment, and work as part of a team to accomplish daily targets.

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.50
Shift: 1st (6:45am-3:15pm) overtime & Saturday as needed

Your responsibilities will include

  • Capable of identifying all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations and
  • dispose according to established process.
  • Read blueprints, SOPs and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and record performance.
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner using WCM tools.
  • Computer and internet skills (SAP, Wind Chill, and PPTA)
  • Support improvement activities for quality, delivery, cost and safety as well as continuous improvement through Kaizen.
  • Support activities as requested.
  • Maintain area organized and clean, 5S.
  • Must complete all necessary reporting and required paperwork.
  • Recognize and define problems, collect data, and develop conclusions.
  • Communicate effectively with others using both oral and written communication skills.

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of assembly work experience or manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years experience in a manufacturing/continuous improvement work environment

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills
