Position Summary
As a Technical Publications Specialist, you will follow Nestlé Purina standards to develop, publish, and maintain technical publications for factory equipment to help ensure maintenance staff and operators perform work in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Additionally, you will work within department standards, processes, and style guides for creating, publishing, and maintaining technical content. This includes the development of images and animations from 3D models and shooting and editing video content.
- Develop, publish, and maintain technical publications to help ensure maintenance staff and operators perform work safely and efficiently
- Shoot and edit videos of manufacturing equipment in a factory environment
- Work with multiple stakeholders to gain both technical information and understanding of communications audience
- Work with multiple disciplines throughout Purina to gain technical information and understanding of audience
- Facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback received from them.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication or Design-related field, a technical degree, or equivalent industry or military experience
- Academic or industry experience developing assembly/disassembly, installation, operation, and maintenance information for mechanical/electrical equipment
The approximate salary range for this position is $77,000 – 113,000 per year. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
