Position Overview:
Siemens DI is establishing a new Global Integration Test Lab (GITL) and looking for an internal product, service and release manager. This quality enhancement initiative will improve cross product integrations testing for new product releases. This position will apply to integration testing across the entire Siemens DI portfolio of products.
Responsible for the management, definition, and direction of a test environments throughout all stages of the product life cycle (concept through end-of-life.). This would be for Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid instances.
Works with various segment product development leads, integration experts and release managers while coordinating testing of cross product integrations for new releases across the portfolio.
Work with development, sales, and product marketing to manage the product through its integration testing cycle(s) to ensure it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.
Performs essential activities across multiple complex products and across product lines. Participates in critical decisions regarding cross product integration Pass/fail testing and release to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish policy, procedures and standards for testing environment(s). Responsible for governance and compliance of such testing standards across portfolio.
- Negotiate, plan, configuration management and maintenance of multiple test environment(s). Environments must be scalable, utilizing common tools, consistent installs/deployments, and maintenance.
- Prepare product execution plans and testing schedules/cycles for appropriate cross product technical and business resources teams to carry out functional testing.
- Collaborate with software architects and developers, who are experts on integration issues and interdependencies among projects as well as segment leadership teams.
- Lead meetings and governance activities with segment Integration Liaison Officer(s) (ILO) to ensure the software works properly, passed all applicable pass/fail thresholds and is ready for the release to external customers.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring testing progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients when issues arise.
- Manage risks that affect the ability to test with high quality. Resolve and escalate impediments.
- Assures value delivery and drive cross product integration continuous improvement.
- Establish test verification and reporting metrics for leadership.
Requirements, Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of release train engineer (Agile, Scrum or SAFe), release manager, software release manager, project manager or combination of like disciplines experience.
- Must be a demonstrated leader, successful manager of complex issues and projects.
- Possess political savvy and the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Must be able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with different engineers, customers and other groups as required (ex: legal, finance, product management, development, QA, etc.).
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast environment with lots of change.
- Must be deadline focused, organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced delivery environment.
- Must have good “provider/consumer of service” experience.
- Adept at agile project management strategies.

The salary rangefor this position is $116,900 to $210,400 and this role is eligible to earnincentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
