As a Technical Lead Manager II, End User Support in the IT Operations organization, you will ensure the quality of work, project execution and team collaboration are being served with excellence. We are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead Manager II, End User Support who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the End User Support team as well as providing support for our staff.
Primary Objectives:
- Direct the activities of the End User Support team to ensure the IT needs of users are met.
- Assist the IT department with leading and training End User Support staff which consist of Full time employees and contractors employees.
- Create processes, procedures and documentation to ensure great customer service is maintained.
- Ensuring ticket quality is maintained and ensuring that employees who are not maintaining ticket quality are trained appropriately.
- Manage and participate in IT projects to integrate new technologies into processes to help the End User support team scale with the company.
- Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of client end points across the company.
- Oversee Cruise IT Executive support team.
- Oversee contractors that are deployed globally.
- Create, and manage IT Operations in team training globally.
- Procurement of end point peripherals, including receiving, physical installation and configuration, including disposing of equipment no longer needed according to policy.
- Participate to confirm compatibility and manage impact to business of all new equipment and changes.
- Establish, measure, and define IT Operations goals and maintain an IT Operations roadmap.
- Monitor and analyze the success of IT Operations initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.
- Build strong relationships with other department heads as well as technology partners.
- Provide technical leadership in all competencies and promote best practices.
- Oversee access rights and permissions policies as required by the business.
- Travel to Cruise sites to ensure support quality is maintained by contractor resources.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years hands on technical experience in comparable position
- Previous experience leading technical team members.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with analytic tools (Tableau, Looker)
- Self-driven, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with core infrastructure and network services (3+ years)
- Basic SSO, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP
- Basic Windows Active Directory
- Experience with Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems
- Operating System and Vulnerability patching and Troubleshooting
- GPOs
- Experience administering and maintaining the Google Workplace platform
- Admin/Privileged User administration
- Licensing
- Experience administering and supporting Exchange Online (Office 365)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- End-Point protection
- Single-Sign-On
- Firewalls
- Vulnerability management
- Common threat tactics (e.g., phishing, malware, ransomware)
- Advance understanding of IT Service Management process
- Smartphone setup, configuration experience (iPhone and Android)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.
The salary range for this position is $122,500 – 180,100. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
