JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $23.00 per hour
Day Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the scheduling activities of the shop floor under the direction of the Supervisor
- Following established procedures and approved processes
- Able to identify personnel shortages from day to day
- Supervise all production scheduling operations in your department so they are producing on schedule to be loaded and shipped on time
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver quality manufactured products in a timely fashion
- Communicate line problems, parts shortages and engineering problems to management
- Maintain daily communication with team members and management to plan for the day/week/month
- Continuously seek new and innovative ways to solve problems while maintaining focus on continuous improvement
- Implement quality and productivity improvements through continuous improvement projects
- Assist with Human Resources related functions, including employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and enforcement of Cornerstone’s policies and procedures
- Developing labor cost reduction system as well as maximizing efficiency
- Balance safety, quality, productivity, and employee morale to achieve positive results in all areas
Qualifications
- High school GED or equivalent required with an associate degree preferred
- Must be highly detail oriented
- Work well in a team environment and in a leadership role
- Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production software
- Background in shipping/manufacturing

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
