ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition & Diversity Partner (I or II) to join our collaborative and supportive corporate recruiting team. You will partner with company hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the workforce and recruit the best talent available for current and upcoming opportunities. This position is a full cycle recruitment position, with responsibilities including posting, sourcing, to interviews, and all related administrative processes.
The recruiter will work a hybrid schedule (2 days remote, and three days in our Thornton office – Tuesdays the recruiting team all work in office to participate in our team meeting), and we’ll provide a work cell phone and laptop. Work hours are flexible between 7:30-5:30 Monday-Friday.

Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent in order to develop relationship as a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner
- Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process
- Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles, partnering with leaders across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions including, but not limited to the following: requisition creation and approval, partnering with compensation analyst on job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, offer negotiations and extensions, conducting reference, background checks, assisting with onboarding, etc.
- Work closely with recruitment team and human resources to ensure all facets of the recruiting process are completed
- Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects
- Assist in meeting affirmative action/equal opportunity and diversity recruitment goals
- Regular and predictable attendance

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Salary (Level I)
- Salary $60,000-$75,000/ year (eligible for overtime) – Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
- 1 – 5 years in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition role is required
- Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; a combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Qualifications & Salary (Level II )
- Salary $70,000-$85,000/ year (eligible for overtime) – Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition role is required, to include 2 years in a corporate recruiting environment
- Minimum of 2 years prior of leadership or coaching experience is required (school, sports, volunteer activities, or workplace experience)
- Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate both verbally and written
- Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information
- Self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of assessing situations and prospective talent to identify potential job matches
- Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision on assignments
- Skilled at multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent ability to learn and follow recruitment related compliance regulations
- Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred
- Good understanding of the recruitment cycle from start to end
- Possess proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and knowledgeable of web-based software and social media platforms
- Occasional travel for career fair and other recruiting efforts may be required
