The Systems Implementation Specialist is responsible for the efficient integration of automation systems within our production facilities. The specialist will work closely with our manufacturing teams to ensure the seamless implementation of new processes while providing training and support to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity are maintained.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Automation Systems Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement automation solutions within our production plant. Ensure the systems are designed, tested, and executed to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Staff Training: Develop and deliver training programs for production employees on the floor, ensuring they are well-versed in the new processes and systems. Provide ongoing support and guidance to address any training-related issues.
  • Process Implementation: Oversee the execution of new processes and technologies, working closely with production teams to ensure proper adoption. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all production employees follow established processes. Proactively address any deviations from standard procedures to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems, processes, and training materials to ensure transparency and easy reference for all stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to technical issues related to automation systems, providing support and solutions to minimize production interruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Recommend and implement process improvements and automation enhancements to optimize production capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in implementing automation systems and providing hands-on training to production staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate training programs.
  • Proficiency in the use of automation software and tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial settings
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to different production facilities for system implementations and training sessions.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours as needed to accommodate production schedules and support staff on various shifts.

Do You Have?

  • Associate degree in IT, engineering or relevant experience
  • 5 years of systems implementation or IT experience background
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.
  • Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • Experience with Epicor is a plus!
