About
We are looking for a System administrator who is well rounded in the IT technical fields with the ability to think outside the box to be part of our Global IT Corporate Infrastructure Architecture team based in Reno, NV. Together with colleagues based in the USA, Europe, and the APAC region, we provide 24×7 infrastructure support for IGT’s Corporate data centers globally. The successful candidate will have experience in system and data center architecture, hardware installation and ongoing support of a company’s infrastructure to help drive efforts in the implementation of new infrastructure globally as well as to monitor and support the remediation of issues affecting our corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Be able to support IGT’s Corporate environments from level 3 – 4 support perspective.
- Understanding of IGT’s server and storage environments.
- Be able to manage all IGT’s VMware environments.
- Be able to navigate and support our Azure and AWS environments.
- Be able to solve routine issues/problems as well as troubleshoot issues/problems yourself and escalate to corresponding teams.
- Acquire necessary gaming license required to perform all job duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years hands on experience as a Windows System Administrator
- L2 or L3 support experiences with a customer minded and service-oriented spirit.
- Willing to participate in on-call rotation including weekend and public holiday.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking
- Working knowledge of current versions of Linux
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL
- Solid knowledge of virtualization software (VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Good working knowledge of Azure and AWS environments
- In-depth understanding of data center architecture
- Motivated and eager to learn and participate in a dynamically growing and changing environment.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $53,800 – $129,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
