Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate, Mid-Level, Senior) to join our team in Auburn and Puyallup, Washington.

The Supply Chain Management Analyst (SCMA) role on the Delivery & kitting team is not your traditional SCMA position! We focus primarily on our delivery performance and the logistics behind fulfilling orders, storing parts and transporting requirements to the programs we support. There is lots of opportunity for cross-functional collaboration. This role provides the opportunity to bring create solutions to existing needs as we stand up a new delivery team. Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and schedules on time delivery of complex parts, commodities following established procedures.
  • Performs audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
  • Reconciles discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
  • Coordinates the flow of materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients. Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
  • Coordinates with required organizations to resolve problems affecting the supply chain or delivery
  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.
  • Coordinates with company customer, support representatives, Engineering, SCMA’s, kitting, MMO, quality assurance, TW&L, S&S Warehousing (Auburn & Fred), and customers.
  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan. Coordinates part number attributes.
  • Creates scheduledelivery lines of balances to track inventory availability to support on-time delivery to programcustomers
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies
  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
  • Creates schedules for products and services
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements
  • Evaluate, and overcome solution delivery risks, and produce execution reports for management and stakeholders
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, utilizing ERPLN, IBAS, SAP or other similar MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with ERPLN, SAP or other similar MRP systems

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 2 (Associate):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years’ related work experience , 7 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Level 3 (Mid-Level):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Level 4 ( Senior):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2) : $66,300 – $89,700

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3) : $81,600 – $110,400

Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4) : $98,600 – $133,400

To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
