Job Description
Puget Sound Energy Bellevue, WA seeks Senior Network Security Engineers, responsible for production support – administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced infrastructure support for the existing IT identity infrastructure technologies to include automating Identity Management tasks including user provisioning and application access based on each user’s relationship with role within our organization using Identity Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for deployment/implementation – planning and executive identity designs, configurations or enhancements to existing identity related infrastructure technologies to include securing, administering, upgrading and integrating applications to enterprise SSO/authentication platforms, including Symantec Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, Symantec Identity Governance and RSA Authenticate. Responsible for design – researching, recommending and designing new technologies, new configurations and enhancements to security infrastructure technologies; providing consulting advice to customer on the capabilities of the network environment. Use of TEWS (web services core) for implementing a custom web interface for new user registration and self-maintenance packages in order to assist in development and implementation of enterprise information systems security and input into overall application design. Works with project manager to develop realistic work estimates, financial budgets and project schedules. Reviews project deliverables for accuracy and provides assistance and mentoring to others. Designs identity infrastructure and interfaces to external services for SSO to include use of authentication protocols including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth. Participates in the design of new or modified Identity services, advises on infrastructure design to include planning and implementing, privileged access controls, segregation of duties, and directory hardening. Evaluates and monitors PSE Identity flows and settings, ensuring compliance with security policies and architecture standards/guidelines by creating custom reports using Kettle scripts utilizing Pentaho Data Integration tool.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires Master’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and three (3) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related. Alternatively, will accept Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included Securing, administering, upgrading and integrating applications to enterprise SSO/authentication platforms, including Symantec Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, Symantec Identity Governance and RSA Authenticate; Use of authentication protocols including LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth; Automate Identity Management tasks including user provisioning and application access based on each user’s relationship with role within our organization using Identity Manager; Create custom reports using Kettle scripts utilizing Pentaho Data Integration tool; Analyzing the logs (agent trace logs, sever logs, access logs, IDM Application Server logs, ETA Logs etc.) and Trouble Shooting issues in Integration of other applications using CA SiteMinder (Access Management) and Identity Management tools along with LDAP and Web-server agents and SiteMinder federation services; Use of TEWS (web services core) for implementing a custom web interface for new user registration and self-maintenance packages; Performing Microsoft Exchange integration with Symantec IDM to autoprovision mailboxes upon user creation; and Planning and implementing, privileged access controls, segregation of duties, and directory hardening.
Salary $157,019 – $187,600. /yr.

The pay range for this position is $157,019 – $187,600, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
