We are seeking an experienced Supplier Diversity Program Manager to join our team and drive the continued success of our existing supplier diversity program. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing, implementing, and managing initiatives that promote the inclusion of diverse suppliers within the Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls and Construction (EPC) supply chain ecosystem. Your strategic vision and collaborative approach will play a pivotal role in fostering a more inclusive business environment while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
o OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in supplier diversity, strategic sourcing, 3rd party relationship function, project management, category management or related field.
Other Requirements:
These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A MBA or a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to act as a supplier diversity thought leader and strategic thinker to partner with stakeholders across a range of levels and organizations.
- Experience of working with diverse supplier networks, negotiating inclusion requirements, managing complex client relationships.
- Data-oriented, analytical and detail oriented, capable of developing and using models for optimization purposesyet balanced with an ability to be able to step back from the data to draw out the right business approach for conclusion.
- Change oriented, actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly.
Business Program Management IC5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 – $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 – $213,200 per year.

Responsibilities:
- Program Enhancement: Build upon the foundation of our existing supplier diversity program by identifying opportunities for improvement and developing innovative strategies to advance the program’s impact and reach. Align with the business’s strategic priorities.
- Supplier Outreach and Development: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with diverse suppliers, ensuring a robust and inclusive pool of potential partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess supplier capabilities and align them with business needs.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with various business partners, including Microsoft Corporate Procurement, Global Supply Chain, Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, Legal, and Finance, to integrate supplier diversity objectives into their processes and decision-making. Educate and engage internal stakeholders on the importance and benefits of supplier diversity.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of the supplier diversity program. Regularly track and report progress, successes, and challenges to leadership and relevant stakeholders, using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Market Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry best practices in the industry, market trends, and regulatory changes related to supplier diversity. Apply this knowledge to continuously improve the program and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supplier Capacity Building: Provide guidance and support to diverse suppliers to enhance their business capabilities, competitiveness, and capacity to meet our organization’s needs.
- Community Engagement: As needed, represent our organization at industry conferences, events, and workshops to promote supplier diversity and strengthen relationships within the diverse supplier community.
