Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of photographic equipment.
- Excellent organization and communication skills with attention to detail
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Mac OS platform (MS Office, and Adobe preferred)
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students and maintain professionalism in a dynamic and creative setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in photography or visual arts related field.
Major Responsibilities/Duties
Major Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage the photography equipment checkout room (Art Cage) and photo studio
- Create and maintain an inventory for photographic equipment
- Instruct students on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain an organized and clean working environment
- Assist with archival photographic printing and maintenance of large format printers
- Provide guidance and a positive learning environment for student workers
- Assist photography faculty with special projects
Additional Information
Work 4 hours per day M-F.

Definition.
A part-time adjunct faculty member is employed at less than 75% time annually and teaches at least one credit hour or more.
A part-time staff member is employed at less that 75% time annually. The employment time is three continuous months at an average of 15 hours a week.
Student hourly employees are exempt from the part-time privileges of this policy.
Privileges.
Upon authorization by the hiring department, part-time employees as defined under this policy will be issued a Snow College Part-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card at the time of hire. The card entitles the holder to all of the privileges associated with a Full-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card including, but not necessarily limited to, general admission or discounted prices for athletic and cultural events; Snow College library card issuance; computer network, Web, and e-mail access; bookstore sponsored discounts; and other discounts associated with the ID card at either campus. Supervisors have the right to terminate the privileges at any time during the fiscal year.
Non-inherent Privileges.
Privileges of full-time employees such as, but not necessarily limited to, college parties or gatherings, professional development activities, office/computer/telephone access, current expense budgets may be provided to part-time employees only at department discretion.
