Position Purpose
The Math Learning Center (MLC) receptionist is primarily responsible for greeting students, answering phone calls, maintaining a student sign in form, and scheduling tutoring appointments for students.
The student worker will work at the main campus.
Hours of work: maximum of 20 hours a week; typically scheduled Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-1pm. Flexible scheduling around class schedule.
The MLC receptionist will also be expected to maintain Math Learning Center print materials and communicate Math Learning Center policies to students. Other duties may be assigned as needed
This position is a non-federal work study position. We are looking for the student workers to work approximately 15-20 hours a week.
Education, Experience and Licensure/Certification Requirements
You must be currently enrolled as a Stark State student.
Basic computer, telephone, and typing skills.
Must be dependable, prompt, and have a positive and professional attitude.
