**Hiring pay range is $22.66 – $28.34 per hour, depending on related and verified experience**
SUMMARY
Incumbents operate light- and heavy-duty construction and maintenance equipment in the maintenance, repair, and alteration of City streets, drainage, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other facilities. Incumbents also perform semi-skilled and unskilled manual labor, and other projects as assigned, and may serve as a lead for community service workers, volunteers, and part-time employees.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, and two years of experience operating heavy-duty construction and/or maintenance equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B or higher.
