Strategy and Insights Manager – Go-to-Market (GTM) Transformation Program (Senior Consultant) – National_Office

The GTM Pods are teams within an Offering Portfolio or an Industry that support pursuits and pre-sales content development. Each Pod is comprised of rotational and permanent resourcing with a total program size of 100+ resources. We are building a core team at the center to define best practices, shape priorities, and create the roadmap for how this capability will grow and evolve.

As the Strategy and Insights Manager list, you drive activation of GTM Pods across all of Consulting. Your critical priorities will include defining the multi-year roadmap, capturing learnings and translating them into action, and managing operations across multiple pods of different shapes and sizes. You will manage rotational team members at the center and work with SM Pod Leaders in each OP & Industry. The perfect person for this job is someone who loves to define a strategy and then bring it to life through iterative activation.

  • Drive one of Deloitte’s biggest Consulting priorities, working with leadership to craft a new capability within the firm that directly impacts firm growth and improves talent experience
  • Define the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for the GTM Pods
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including Pod Sponsors (PMDs), Pod Leaders (SMs), and Sales / GTM leaders (C-suite Commercial leadership)
  • Support the overall program budget including the allocation by Pod
  • Support GTM Pod investment case and ROI tracking
  • Drive the GTM Pod operations and define operational standards across pods
  • Support ongoing recruiting and training processes in partnership with Recruiting, Pod Leaders, and Sales SMEs
  • Oversee the rotational resource programs on GTM Pods Core team (resources split between US and USI)
  • Manage the day-to-day support of US rotational staff within the Core team
  • Serve as a key integrator for US and USI GTM collaboration
  • Develop your go-to-market and sales skillsets through working with Sales leadership and PCOE and actively contribute to upskilling talent across the firm

The Team

  • The GTM Pods are dedicated pursuit support that shift workload away from nights & weekends, accelerate talent development in sales capabilities, and help Deloitte win better and win smarter, supporting the growth of our business
  • The role will be a full-time, permanent position within the GTM Pod Core Team; it sits at the center of all the Pods and supports the overall program
  • In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, the GTM Pods Core Team Leader will receive priority access to sales development trainings like Power Selling Academy and ongoing exposure to C-suite firm leaders and OP / Industry leadership teams

Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years in consulting and / or SC-equivalent client experience
  • Experience in driving sales opportunities & pursuits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Passion for GTM, sales, and / or business development

Preferred:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Expert project manager with strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong visual, written, and verbal communications
  • Ability to take ownership, are a creative problem-solver, and have a high-level of accountability
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple leaders
  • Experience leading teams and committed to building an inclusive environment
  • Bring high-energy and a positive attitude
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated executive presence
  • Experience working in Sales, Marketing or Alliance Partnerships
  • Comfort operating in an unstructured environment and leading through ambiguity
  • Team player with “customer-focused” mindset
  • Experience facilitating leadership workshops, presentations, or trainings
  • Experience working on large-scale change management

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,250 to $181,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
