We’re seeking a software engineer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain iOS application software with focus on application hardening and obfuscation. You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate innovators who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. Job Responsibilities: Fine-tune and harden a variety of sophisticated mobile software implementation projects to make them more resistant to attack and prevent unauthorized modifications. Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs. Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications Implement system software and customize to client requirements. Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans. Code new programs to client’s specifications and create test data for testing. Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs. Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation. Provide quality assurance reviews. Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.

Where you come in:

  • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Implement requirements with focus on tamper proofing iOS applications
  • Develop tools in Python to help secure iOS applications
  • Write and update design documents
  • Follow internal software development procedures to comply with medical regulations, especially in the area of cyber security
  • Interface with software test team to ensure high quality product
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests
  • Participate in design, code, and test reviews
  • Other duties as assigned

What makes you successful:

  • Minimum 5 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift and Objective C and 8 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle process
  • Hands-on experience in developing mobile applications
  • Must have strong verbal and communication skills
  • High degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding
  • Able to identify gaps and then enable team to address those gaps
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Good knowledge of PKI fundamentals and best practices
    • Good understanding of cryptography including the principles related to PKI, private keys, encryption methods, digital signing algorithms.
    • Experience working in Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence
    • Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Fastlane (iOS), Github Actions
    • Experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
    • You have experience writing automated tests using XCTest, XCUITest
    • You have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP
    • Experience writing automated unit/integration/UI tests using for example, JUnit, Mockito, XCTest, XCUITest, etc

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Masters degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.

Exempt Salary Details

  • The annual base salary range for this role is $141,800 to $236,400. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
