Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SSRS Developer to join our team for a full-time permanent role working from any of the US CGI locations.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SSRS reports for our clients.
You will work closely with our clients, business analysts, and development team to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into SSRS reports that meet their needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports for our clients.
• Collaborate with clients and business analysts to understand their reporting requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for SSRS reports.
• Develop complex SQL queries to retrieve data from SQL Server databases.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for faster report execution.
• Create data models and design data visualizations for SSRS reports.
• Perform unit testing and troubleshooting of SSRS reports.
• Ensure SSRS reports are delivered on time and meet the client’s quality standards.
• Provide technical support and maintenance of SSRS reports.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in SSRS development.
Solid understanding of SQL Server and SQL
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as SSIS.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with other reporting tools such as PowerBI is good to have.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000 – $161,600.
