The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities (SRR) at the University of Denver supports the University and SAIE division through our office mission, community values, and philosophy of accountability.

Position Summary
The SRR Administrator is responsible for the management and resolution of student conduct cases through facilitating case resolution meetings, leading restorative justice conferences, working with Student Accountability Board hearings, and assigning and evaluating outcomes. The SRR Administrator may serve as a process advisor to students participating in the student conduct process when the SRR Administrator is not the staff member hearing the case. The opportunity to be a team lead in a specific area of our office will be possible. The SRR Administrator may provide training and support to Student Accountability Board members, restorative justice facilitators, Housing and Residential Education staff, and other community members as needed and as mutually determined with their supervisor. The SRR Administrator assists with facilitating educational outreach efforts, including proactive programming and outcome workshops. The SRR Administrator will support the education, training and professional development of our graduate student staff.
This is a full-time 12-month position (1.0 FTE) reporting to the Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities.
Essential Functions
Case Management and Case Resolution
- Administer campus policies, which includes the Honor Code, Student Rights and Responsibilities Policies and Procedures, Guide to Residence Living, and other University policies, etc., through processing student conduct paperwork, facilitating administrative case resolution meetings, determining outcomes, and providing follow-up contact with students
- Serve as a process advisor as needed
- Coordinate, facilitate and/or assist with restorative justice conference planning, logistics, training and implementation
Facilitation and Training
- Provide training and support to Student Accountability Board members, restorative justice facilitators, Housing and Residential
- Education staff, and other community members as needed and as mutually determined with supervisor
Education and Awareness
- Design, implement, facilitate, and assess educational outreach efforts, including programming and outcome workshops
- Proactive education and training with students on behavioral accountability, conflict resolution, and their rights and responsibilities as individuals and community members
- Design, implement, and assess academic integrity programming and educational outcomes in collaboration with faculty and other campus partners.
Administrative
- Coordinate the operations of Student Rights and Responsibilities through initiating the student conduct process, preparing cases, and maintaining accurate and complete conduct records/database
- Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding student conduct records
- Participate in comprehensive assessment for the department
Other duties as assigned
- At times, supervise, evaluate, and train graduate students
- Serve as a team lead on projects and/or topics
- Participate in departmental, area, and division wide staff meetings and development opportunities
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned, as mutually determined with supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- A basic understanding of computerized databases and information systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel, and Publisher)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year of experience in student conduct, conflict resolution, residence life, counseling, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Understanding and experience with conflict resolution and restorative justice
- Experience working with faculty
- Experience planning and implementing campus-wide programs
- Experience directly supervising graduate or undergraduate student staff
- Experience with Maxient and Banner
Working Environment
1. Standard office environment.
2. Unexpected interruptions occur often and stress level is moderate to high.
3. Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities
1. Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period of time.
2. Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The salary grade for the position is 8.
Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $25.54 – $26.56
