The Sr SQA Data Lead works with multiple data engineering teams and testers to provide data reliability and testing strategies across a diverse mix of projects. This position regularly interfaces with Solution Architects and other project participants to make sure appropriate test approaches, testing strategies and test cases are in place.

- Work with Solution Architects, Data Analysts and Data Engineers to fully understand system designs and implementations to develop end to end test strategies.
- Define test approaches and test strategies, prioritizes execution tasks for project testing.
- Assist in planning and estimation of testing activities.
- Analyze defect patterns across the entire product platform and drives test initiatives to identify and prevent them in the future.
- Train SQA teams in the latest testing techniques and stay abreast of the latest trends in software testing.
- Support automation test; identifies automation opportunities; coordinates with automation team to implement automation solutions; drives the automation team to increase the automation coverage to improve overall SQA efficiency.
- Works closely with the SQA Engineers to apply quality best practices in day-to-day testing and provide recommendations to improve QA processes.
- Works with business stakeholders to define coverage and reliability objectives for data.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position may have supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Eight (8+) years of experience in software testing with emphasis in a data warehouse environment OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses: None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work independently and assume full responsibility for delivering projects on time.
- Possess flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing concepts, and test methodologies.
- Able to establish and maintain strong relationships with peers and with management outside of the department.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to clear required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with data observability tools such as Bigeye, Monte Carlo or Anomalo.
- Bachelor’s degree in computers science or related field

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.
- We anticipate the salary range to be $77,694. to $156,944.60. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
