We are seeking a seasoned product manager to join the PSME Tech team. This person will coordinate the Science & Analytics roadmap globally and set the vision for the charter. They will co-ordinate cross functionally with marketing, data science, and analytics to align on measurement priorities that have significant impact to business. They will need to understand the needs of customers (internal & external), and iterate on new processes. This is a highly visible position so they will interact with the senior management team within Amazon Business to create and demonstrate value of their product.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results on complex projects for customers in ambiguous environments. They will be a thought leader who can build new products, business models, address unmet customer needs and invent new solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams in a complex space. Key responsibilities include:
– Help build and drive a multi-year roadmap for science & analytics charter.
– Build mechanisms to co-ordinate effectively with product peers, marketing, data science, analytics.
– Own business requirements, participate in sprint planning meetings and deliver on the road map for science initiatives.
– Dive deep into customer and business data to derive actionable insights and implement mechanisms to drive business benefit from these insights.
– Keep leadership updated on product roadmap, project status and issues / opportunities in products. Own business review documents at monthly / quarterly cadence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience owning technology products
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
– Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
– MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
