The Sr. Commerce Product Manager manages and oversees the development and performance of e-commerce, payment and point-of-sales products or services Lucid Motors offers. Their role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, finance, and sales, to define product strategies, prioritize features, and drive the successful execution of the product roadmap.

Responsibilities:

    • As a member of this team, you will be responsible for enabling digital experience for retail commerce and finance operations by automation and self-service experience online and in-store.
    • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the company’s payment, POS and e-commerce offerings.
    • Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
    • Understand user needs and define product features to deliver product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
    • Use agile principles to write user stories and plan and drive the software development of features.
    • Use various tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
    • Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that meets current needs and considers future growth scenarios.
    • Work with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to improve the efficiency of our internal operations and users while improving customer experience.
    • You will also work on new technologies, platforms, consumer-facing products, and enterprise systems.
    • Manage and communicate dependencies with other teams.
    • Prioritize between new features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.
    • Define and enhance KPIs with analytics and stakeholder teams that educate business decision-making.
    • Troubleshoot to resolve product issues and operational pain points.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technology or business-related field
    • 8+ years of Product Management experience
    • 4+ years of experience in IT product management in the payment, point of sales, and e-commerce field

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in software/online product management, product development and shipping quality, and impactful products, with evidence of exceptional ability
    • Experience having shipped internal-facing products and platform solutions that delivered business impact
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to query data from various systems to solve problems
    • Passionate about working with other businesses and partners to solve their specific challenges
    • Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible product features that customers love
    • Ability to successfully work with cross-functional of teams, including engineering, UX, legal, finance, retail, and operations
    • Familiarity with tools for wire-framing and mockups
    • Broad Appreciation of API design principles and maturity to understand e2e Integration Experience as perceived by a developer
    • Experience working with software engineers and architects on a product designed to handle a global scale is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to think strategically while also being able to dive into tactical execution.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
    • The automotive manufacturing industry experience a plus.
    • A master’s degree is a plus

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $138,000 – $198,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
