Sr. Marketing Manager – US Federal Partners, WWPS Marketing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly capable, self-directed Senior Field and Partner Marketing Manager, to help drive awareness and customer adoption of AWS’s cloud computing solutions to/with/through US Federal and other Public Sector technology partner-customers.

You will work both strategically and tactically, and use your exceptional analytical experience to create field marketing strategies and joint marketing programs with Public Sector partners to drive sales growth for Public Sector technology organizations and AWS. In this role, you will develop demand generation strategies and tactics to engage Public Sector Federal and technology partner-customers. You will implement campaigns and tactics to help these partner-customers learn more about AWS and provide resources to help them grow their business. You will also develop joint partner marketing programs that enable Public Sector Federal and partner-customers acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers, and develop thought-leadership and awareness campaigns to share their story.

You will act as the primary marketing contact for sales account teams and partner business managers – including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions. You will also act as the primary marketing contact and consultant for strategic partner/customer accounts to build and execute joint marketing plans and overarching industry marketing programs. You will constantly monitor results including lead generation, marketing qualified leads (MQLs), sales qualified leads (SQLs), attributed revenue, MDF utilization, and other marketing metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– 4+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

– Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

– Experience communicating results to senior leadership

– Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners

– Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media

– Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

– Knowledge of HTML at the interemdiate level

– MBA

– Experience with Public Sector partners and/or experience in consulting, agency, or similar environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
