We are looking for a Senior Manager Product Management to lead the transition of our legacy data, analytics, and reporting products to a next-generation solution that covers a range of reports (standard, custom, embedded), publication of data for our customers and partners to use on 3rd party business intelligence tools, normalization and data schemas from multiple products from different tech stacks, and migration of customer base from legacy to next generation. This is a critical role for our company and the SaaS Business Unit, as we need to ensure that our data infrastructure is able to support our ambitious growth plans.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analytics and reporting, as well as experience with cloud-based computing platforms, modern cloud data warehousing and data base technologies, and business intelligence tools. You will also have a proven track record of leading and executing complex product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • The position has responsibility for the growth and business success of an assigned product line life cycle and/or product category. The role is responsible for managing other product managers in both developing strategies and managing tactical execution of product growth and development plans as well as delivering management objectives, coaching, and mentoring.
  • This position is responsible for ensuring the ongoing review of the competitive environment for his/her product category. This is accomplished through analysis of competitive equipment and compilation of other pertinent findings, and the information thus gained is published and/or presented on a regular basis.
  • SaaS Product Life Cycle Management
    • Work closely with cross functional teams to properly manage P&L forecasts, product definitions, product launches, and product/feature end-of-life.
    • Propose and drive packaging and pricing
    • Manage transitions and discontinuations of product line
    • Manage product related communications to both internal and external parties
  • Developing and executing a product strategy for our next-generation data, analytics, and reporting solution that covers a wide range of reports (standard and custom), dashboards, data connectors, APIs, data catalog, and business intelligence tools.
  • Working with engineering and data teams to design and implement the new product.
  • Come up with solutions that address customer and operational pain points
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the company to ensure that the new product meets the needs of all users.
  • Managing the transition of users from the legacy product to the new solution.
  • Tracking and analyzing key metrics to measure the success of the new product.
  • Identifying and implementing new features and functionality to improve the product.
  • Proposing monetization strategy for premium offers

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 12+ years of related industry experience
  • 3+ years managing/leading multiple product managers in related discipline or technology industry
  • Experience launching products based on cloud-based data analytics platforms, modern data warehousing technologies, and business intelligence tools
  • Solid Product Management experience and knowledge, Design Thinking, and Customer Discovery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to drive solutioning and trade-off decision on the appropriate next gen solution to use given target segments, use cases, commercial viability, technical feasibility, usability and migration paths from legacy products
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leveled presence in customer meetings
  • Strong bias for action and customer empathy
  • Experience with modern data analytics and reporting tools, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Looker.
  • Experience working with Analytics Engineering, Data Operations and Data Engineering colleagues
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated product plans
  • Attention to detail, and strong understanding of complex products and systems
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balances sheets, and ROI models with delivery of product through defined objectives
  • Highly creative with ability to think strategically and develop strategic/business plans
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter; this individual must be adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive and be able to execute a well-developed plan
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel

Salary: USD 146600.00 – USD 219800.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
