Overview
Primary duties will include creating, planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing content and communications across all channels, improving communication with customers, and encouraging business growth through compelling content and impactful campaigns.

The ideal candidate is someone with experience in marketing communications strategy and implementation, content writing, public relations, and social media management.
Primary Responsibilities
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop annual editorial calendar that includes emails, webinars, social media, public relations, and thought leadership activations of the KeHE brand to continually serve our various customers and partners.
• Create and implement an overall marketing communications strategy across all applicable platforms, both digital and print.
• Develop, support, and drive content for all marketing automation campaigns focused on the Commercial organization and driving revenue growth.
• Develop and implement all event communications to support KeHE trade shows, ensuring exhibitor, retailer, and revenue goals are met.
• Measure the results of marketing activity and report to marketing leadership on a regular basis and inform future marketing communications.
• Design and implement creative marketing communication strategies to disseminate content.
• Oversee all external KeHE communications including, email, website blogs, social media, public relations, as well as field any requests for KeHE-branded copy/content as needed.
• Implement SEO best practices into all digital content to increase social media and web traffic.
• Collaborate with the KeHE creative team ensure all aspects of the content text and imagery accurately represent the KeHE brand. Lead the creative team in content collection at all major KeHE events.
• Collaborate with KeHE thought leaders to ensure all commercial content is represented.Media & Industry Relations
• Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media with and without the help of a media agency
• Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases, ghost-written interview responses, and related materials
• Ideate on new and exciting ways to pitch the KeHE brand for coverage
• Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, distribution center grand openings, as needed
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results monthly
• Partner with the Director of Marketing to evaluate opportunities for thought leadership and sponsorships on an on-going basis in alignment with KeHE’s goals.Social Media
• Oversee both organic and paid social media campaigns to drive engagement and increase followers across KeHE’s current platforms.
• Manage KeHE’s CEO LinkedIn profile to drive brand awareness.
• Own all social media community management to ensure there is an exceptional brand experience.
• When necessary, perform a social media audit and present recommendations for next steps to the Director of Marketing.
• Identify which types of content resonate best with each platform to further develop social media strategy.
• Drive traffic and engagement that translates to deeper brand loyalty for current retailers and suppliers and exposes the KeHE brand and value proposition to new customers.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate social media results on a monthly quarterly basis.Financial & People Management
• This role will manage a team of content creators (internal/external, direct/indirect) and will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability.
• Manage the communications marketing budget.
• Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on goal metrics around engagement, follower growth, and direct sales related to marketing communications.Relationship Management
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with KeHE suppliers, brokers, customers, and prospects to better understand and meet their unique content needs.
• Regularly gather supplier and retailer feedback and generate ideas to increase engagement and the value our content and communications provide.
• Develop extensive relationships within KeHE to support organization cross-collaboration.Essential Functions
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
• A passion for storytelling and asking the right questions.
• A strong track record of content generation for a variety of platforms.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Experience in producing smart CTAs according to the visitor lifecycle stage.
• A wide variety of social media platforms and social media community management: experience with building an online audience as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, media releases, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
• SEO and using web traffic metrics to inform your content strategy.
• Managing multiple, complex, and highly visible projects at the executive level.
• Presenting material in a polished and articulate manner with strong presentation skills to people at all organizational levels.
• Data-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity and experience interpreting data to making business recommendations to improve performance.
• Competitive spirit that is not easily discouraged or daunted. Does not give up easily and finds effective ways to surmount obstacles and navigate inter- departmental dynamics.Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years’ experience; food, health and wellness, CPG or natural products industry a plus
