StreetEasy is seeking a seasoned marketing leader who is passionate about redefining the home shopper journey and industry partner experience in the NYC market. You will set the strategic vision and define cohesive data-driven outcomes for the integrated marketing and growth organizations. You will build, lead and mentor a team of strong performers across brand, creative, product marketing, performance marketing and customer lifecycle marketing.
About the role
You will be a part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the VP & GM of StreetEasy. You will collaborate with senior peers in Strategy & Revenue Operations, Product Management, Engineering, and Partner Engagement & Program Operations, along with Marketing leaders in the broader Zillow Group organization.
You will:
- Work closely with StreetEasy leadership team to determine annual goals and lead the development and implementation of a marketing plan to deliver against them
- Lead all aspects of full-funnel marketing efforts including brand, creative, product marketing, performance marketing, and customer lifecycle
- Plan and implement a strong plan for demand growth and ongoing engagement optimization; establish a culture of experimentation and measurement
- Develop a strong brand narrative and voice for the company ensuring that key messages are integrated and consistent throughout all aspects of customer/partner experience
- Form a strong, collaborative partnership with the product, engineering, and operations teams to identify and implement new features and engagement programs and processes; ensure all connections are progressing through the funnel and ultimately converting.

This role has been categorized as a Hybrid position. “Hybrid” employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 10 to 80 percent of their time each month, and the rest of the time they may work from a remote physical location of their choice within a reasonable commuting distance from the corporate office which must be identified to the Company in advance. The Recruiter and Hiring Manager will set expectations on the employee’s preferred time in office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $191,000.00 – $305,000.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 10+ years of full-stack marketing and senior leadership experience scaling a high-growth consumer business; expertise in marketplaces is preferred
- 5+ years of leadership experience and is an empathetic leader who inspires, challenges and elevates others
- Strong understanding of brand and performance marketing, and how the two work together
- Consistent track record in developing multi-channel, demand-gen programs, including setting and implementing strategy, developing forecasts, evaluating appropriate budget levels, and measuring results
- Experience in creating data driven processes and leveraging statistical and BI tools to run marketing experiments (e.g. A-B testing, performance tracking and dashboard management).
- Demonstrated capability to research/understand a market and its priorities, challenges opportunities, drivers and influencers
- High EQ and ability to build a fun, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
- An influential strategist who is also a hands-on leader who can get into the weeds and execute when needed
- Strong understanding of the shifting digital landscape and the key levers to drive growth
