We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior BI/Data Analyst to join the Service Analytics team. This role will be crucial in providing analytical support to the various teams within the Service Organization as well as outside stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is skilled in developing business dashboards, working with large datasets, and working with cross functional teams to gather and document requirements, and deliver analytics solutions. The candidate should have an aptitude for story telling using data and be comfortable with ambiguity.
The Role
- Work with multiple stakeholders within the Service Organization to understand their business needs, and develop analytics solutions.
- Develop KPIs (key performance indicators) by gathering and documenting requirements, identifying and extracting data, and developing solutions.
- The role will be responsible for developing and communicating insights about parts used in service, parts distribution, parts planning, parts consumption & warehouse operations among others
- Work with business process owners to develop process & data flows to streamline business processes, in particular merging data from Salesforce and SAP for analytics
- Take ownership of quality and reliability of business data of your primary stakeholders
- Develop ad-hoc data and reporting solutions by extracting data from multiple sources using automated scripts to generate reports and dashboards.
- Present and communicate business impacts to stakeholders based on your analysis.
- Collaborate and communicate best practices in data science with other analysts (e.g., code reviews, data integrity, and data reliability).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst with an operations background preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (statistics, engineering, mathematics, IT, or a quantitative business field) with significant experience in data science. Preferably a Graduate degree in Business Analytics or related field of study.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP for supply chain operations.
- Highly proficient in SQL and Tableau dashboard development.
- Ability to use Python (or other tools) for data extraction, ETL pipeline development, and ad-hoc analytics.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards in Salesforce is a plus.
- Knowledgeable in using collaboration tools (Git repositories, JIRA systems, version control, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California San Francisco Bay Area – $127,000 – 165,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
