As a trusted industry tastemaker, The Bowery Presents produces dynamic entertainment experiences at dozens of venues nationally, presenting more than 2,500 shows per year. Position Summary: The Sponsorship Coordinator supports the sponsorship team by generating leads, producing sponsorship materials, and managing relationships with clients and partners to help execute the sponsorship package to the client’s satisfaction. Essential Functions:
- Support the management team by meeting directly with clients and coordinating multiple accounts from the initial meeting, proposal phase, agreement, follow up, activation elements, billing and recaps.
- Coordinate sponsor/brand activations to ensure optimal activation experience. This includes working closely with the sponsorship manager, director and occasionally directly with the artist onsite at the event to make sure details are implemented according to the agreement and with 100% satisfaction.
- Participate in the decision-making process for account needs (as it relates to marketing, operations, ticketing etc.) and questions. Ensure a proper voice is represented from all perspectives of the sponsorship business.
- Generate creative pitches, proposals and/or presentations to entice new business for Bowery Presents Sponsorship. Coordinate follow-up reports for existing clients to summarize their partnership.
- Observe and record client meeting details; document and track key elements and logistics to be used as a reference throughout the relationship (from introduction, contract signing through fulfillment/collections)
- Work with talent buyers, explaining a client’s desired sponsorship package and working with them to research and identify the right artist to partner with to maximize the promotion of the sponsorship.
- May also work on special projects as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year)
- A minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office: PowerPoint & Excel and the ability to learn required business systems
- Proficient in Creative; InDesign, Photoshop, KeyNote
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships
- Experience working in customer service
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work long hours, including: nights, weekends and some holidays
- Experience working in sales and marketing
- Experience working in KORE (CRM) Customer Relations Management Systems
- Able to make quick decisions and work independently and in the group dynamic
- Must be able to use discretion relying on past and present business practices and experiences to make quality judgements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the music industry preferred
- Proficient in all aspects of design for marketing material creation
- Proficient in Customer Relations Management Systems and Statistics
Pay Scale: $18.63-$28.00 AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside his/her normal description.
