Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer to develop a scalable distributed architecture for C2BMC, bringing the tactical battle management capabilities to the edge. The developer will be part of the Future BMC2 group of Enterprise Technology in Rotary & Mission Systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for working on a team to assist in the rearchitected of C2BMC to develop containerized services/applications to deploy to the edge in a future Joint All Domain Operations environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Successful development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications, incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts
– Present project status, concepts, and overviews
– Periodic travel to Lockheed Martin sites may be required, as well as the ability to work in a virtual environment
– Work effectively with teammates in a geographically dispersed and virtual environment

The successful candidate will work across organization boundaries to leverage best practices, possess an automation mindset, and be willing to take initiative and develop innovation solution to complex problems.
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 or more years of professional experience
• Proven experience with at least one or more Object Oriented Supported Languages: Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Golang
• Proven experience with at least one or more web frameworks: Spring, Node.js, Angular
• Full Stack Development experience utilizing DevOps practices
• Hands on experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

• Understanding of build tools and package managers such as npm, pypi, maven, gradle, ruby, nuget and yum
• Experience with DevOps tools and development techniques (GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as code)
• Experience with linux command line and writing shell scripts
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Familiarity with VMWare Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3)
• Familiarity with license and vulnerability scanning products such as Flexnet Code Insight and Fossology
• Willingness to utilize pair programming and test-driven development processes
• Experience in Lockheed Martin products such as DiamondShield, Aegis, and C2BMC is preferred
• Active TS/SCI is desired

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $85,900 – $164,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $98,800 – $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
