StubHub is looking for Software Engineer IIs to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features. As a Software Engineer at StubHub, you will be at the forefront of tackling significant, ambiguous, and non-trivial challenges as a core contributor and innovator, bringing creative technical solutions to life. In order to ensure our company’s success, our Software Engineers must demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm for the problems they tackle.

We would like to see someone who has:
- 2-5 years, or equivalent demonstration, of relevant work experience in software development
- Experience with React and the and relevant toolset/framework ecosystem; experience with back-end languages (C#, Java, Python) is a plus!
- An understanding of core JavaScript concepts and experience building robust web applications
- Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact; focus on large-scale consumer-products is preferred
- Understanding of the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
It would be great to see someone with:
- Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other engineers to create impactful and highly-performant web experiences
- A passion for having an impact, learning from the best, and helping people access unforgettable experiences
- Ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools

$175,000 – $220,000 a year
The anticipated gross base annual salary range for this role is $175,000 – $220,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, and also includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
