The Opportunity
The University of Central Florida (UCF) Rosen College of Hospitality Management is seeking qualified candidates for a Social Media Coordinator II. The Social Media Coordinator will collaborate on the development of creative content across multi-channel social media initiatives focused on promoting and protecting the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. This person will play a pivotal role in creating integrated social media marketing campaigns ensuring consistency in voice and brand, and in helping the Rosen College increase engagement with key audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and posting social media content and communications for the Rosen College.
  • Ensure brand identity consistency within the UCF brand. Strategic and results-driven approach to communication with faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and external stakeholders.
  • Implement campaigns and develop strategies to increase engagement across the college’s platforms.
  • Support in maintaining the college’s websites, brochures, and marketing materials.
  • Provide guidance to college regarding social media opportunities and protocol in accordance with university policies and regulations.
  • Assist in stewarding the college’s brand through social media and digital communications.
  • Excellent writing capability.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and experience in social media communications.
  • Proven ability to build and develop brand recognition and awareness.
