Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert envisioning and integrating emerging data technologies, anticipating new trends to solve complex business and technical problems
- Set up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, sizing query, performance tuning, zero-copy, clone time travel, and understanding how to use these features
- In Snowflake data modeling ETL uses Snowflake SQL, implements stored procedures and standards DWH and ETL concerts
- Use Azure/AWS Cloud platform
- Design, develop, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data warehouse databases in Snowflake
Position Qualifications:
- At least 12 years of experience
- Required skills: SQL scripting, Snowflake, and Unix Shell Scripting
- Nice to have skills: Apache Hadoop and Core Java
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $82,000 – $125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
