Where do YOU fit in?
The Internal Rehab Service Technician will assist with repair of stormwater wetlands, biofiltration systems, proprietary underground storage units, and drainage conveyance infrastructures utilizing Best Management Practices (BMP) for Stormwater Control Measures (SCM). This work can be physically demanding but above all else, it’s extremely rewarding! Your success will directly impact the environment & quality of water in your community!
Specific duties:
- Operate company vehicle (pickup truck & trailer)
- Operate small to moderately sized equipment such as skid steers, tractors, and small excavators
- Facilitate and coordinate repairs and subcontractor services
- Use hand tools and small power equipment
- Perform manual construction labor
- Regional company paid overnight travel 3-5 days during the week
Position Requirements
Requirements:
- Ability to travel during the work week (3-5 days per week)
- A background screening, driving record review, pre-employment drug screen, and DOT Physical are part of the pre-employment process; maintaining insurable status under the company’s auto policy & DOT Health Card are an ongoing requirements of this position.
- Small-Medium equipment operator experience (skid steers, light tractors, small excavators, trenching equipment, chippers)
- Knowledge of electric and gas operated hand tools (concrete saw, demolition hammer, generator, external sump pumps, jack tampers, chainsaws)
- Able to work 40-50 hours per week
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work in varieties of weather
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Related experience / work in concrete, excavation, restorations, stormwater management
