Job Description
Acts as ambassador for Skier Services and the Resort Property, also controls the overall work product of the Guest Services Department.
As the Skier Services Manager you will be responsible for:
- Staff Training
- Makes sure the staff takes complete and accurate phone messages for the Skier Service Reps.
- Keeps a shift logbook of all daily check-ins
- Responsible for assuring a smooth check-in and checkout
- Coordinate the support staff and their daily duties
- Oversee the final product of the schedule
- Interact between departments to ensure accurate resort information is communicated between departments
- Handle situations in the department and assist in solving situations for other Guest Service departments.
- Oversee the hiring, advising, coaching, disciplinary actions and termination of team members.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
- Addressing and resolving guest issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English conversationally. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values:

Requirements:
- Must be to lift to ski and snowboard equipment.
- Must be able to work in all outdoor conditions.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Supervisory experience.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
