Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. The salary for this position is $68,940- $86,460dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for processes and projects across all internal component and engine shops. Responsible for leading the standardization of processes across shop operations and locations. Work cross-departmentally on new equipment/facilities projects, including equipment installation, new process implementation, and new/upgraded capabilities.

  • Internal shop process standardization
  • New process development and implementation
  • Project coordination for equipment/facility improvements
  • Act as liaison between the Engine and Components department and support organizations
  • Tech Ops shop transition
  • Manage Engine and Components Operations internal projects

What’s needed to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Engineering, Aviation or related discipline
  • Three years management experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or maintenance environment
  • Understanding of shop floor production control
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and maintenance programs
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively across various disciplines
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack:

  • Five years’ experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or maintenance environment
  • Experience leading projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing change via practical problem solving or continuous improvement
  • Certified project manager
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
  • A&P license
