Description
Tradesmen is hiring for a new role that will be supporting our largest shipyard clients. The Shipyard Recruiter will be focused on hunting for qualified shipyard trade candidates. Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Actively hunting for shipyard trade candidates using various resources
- Social media (FB, LI, TikTok, Instagram)
- Referrals
- Cold calling passive candidates
- Building a network of shipyard trades
- Various job boards- posting and reverse resume search
- Attending events
- Utilizing creative sourcing methods
- Engagement with candidates
- Building and maintaining a quality pipeline of candidates
- Communicating with Process Administrators on candidate process
- Align activity to meet KPI measurements and targets to improve recruiting effectiveness and efficiency
Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience as a hunter type recruiter; trades or marine recruiting preferred. They will have examples of the positions that they successfully recruited for and the ability to demonstrate their use of social media to attract qualified candidates. They will have experience reaching out to and calling passive potential candidates and follow up on active leads. This person will demonstrate a professional and positive, hunter attitude. Experience working with the Navy is ideal, but not required. Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
This position reports to our Marine San Diego office.
Benefits:
The salary for this position is $65,000. Employees in this position may also, in some circumstances, be eligible for bonus payments on top of the salary payments described above provided the employee meets the requirements of the applicable bonus plan.
